About Us

The Annual Talmadge Block Party is an entirely voluntary event, based solely on the contribution of time, effort and money of many of our neighbors. This annual event was founded as a way for the community to come together to foster community values and neighborhood spirit.
More than 1,200 homes make up the neighborhood and all are invited to the party that features live music, games, food, kids and adult activities and prizes. Hundreds of neighbors attend and community groups and public officials are also in attendance.

We Make your Contributions Count
Each Block Party is self-supporting and additional proceeds are donated to a community cause. In the past, we have been proud to make significant donations to
Hoover High School, Fay and Edison Elementary Schools, the YMCA, The Talmadge Patrol and many other worthy community causes.
